Today, BronzeLens Film Festival joins the global community in reaching out to our friends and supporters. In this ever-evolving time of COVID19, most non-profits are experiencing loss and restructuring, yet still striving to serve their communities.

BronzeLens was created to be a multicultural festival highlighting the diverse talent of the next generation of filmmakers of color. We have grown from a four-day event to a year-round presenter of screenings and workshops recognized nationally and internationally.

Highlights of BronzeLens have included:
  1. Designated as an Academy Award Qualifying festival for the short film category.
  2. Accepted the invitation to be a charter member of the African American Film Festival Releasing Movement (now ARRAY) during our first festival. This unique distribution model created by filmmaker Ava DuVernay has enabled us to be supportive of quality independent films.
  3. Partnered with a wide variety of organizations including the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, Hammonds House, the Atlanta University Center colleges, Georgia Tech, Emory University, Georgia State University, Autism Speaks, AID Atlanta, LINKS, Inc., and environmental organizations to name a few.
  4. Multiple years of screening independent films by and about people of color from around the region, the nation and the world.

We know that BronzeLens has a special place in the hearts of our filmmakers and those who support the arts. We love you back. In the weeks and months ahead, we will continue to be your platform, to support your work, to enlighten you about industry trends & opportunities, and to uplift your achievements.

But today, BronzeLens needs you. “Now More Than Ever” your support can help us survive into this coming year as we transition back to an “in-person” event
